Resiliency in Post-Pandemic Era

One of the best takeaways the pandemic brought us about, career-wise, is to spend time efficiently. For instance, due to restrictions imposed by the situation, we are all obliged to attend webinars instead of the usual in-person conventions we used to join in. Who would have thought that participating in national or even international seminars could be so engaging and entertaining in the comfort of our own homes minus the usual time, effort, expenses & jet lag we normally deal with before? I know almost everyone ponders this thought thereafter: “Pwede naman pala.”

Another perk for having a coherent time management at work is that you can have more time with your loved ones and of course, yourself. This pandemic has proven to us how one’s mental health is so vital and that self-care must be our first priority before anything else. We have to take good care of ourselves to serve others better, but being indifferent is clearly out of the picture. Certainly, we have to prioritize ourselves first but not to the point that our virtues are at stake. Let us all be advocates of self-care but still sensible and responsive to the ordeal of one another.

This health crisis has revealed our innovative side amidst the pressure in the system we are all trying to endure. Armed with our flaming passion to elevate education in the middle of the pandemic through our chosen craft, we have managed to stay on the surface. Yes, working is easy but staying driven, especially in these trying times, is tough. Despite the odds, we always find inspiration to do good. We have discovered how bravery has been manifested in each of us the moment we learned to admit our own weaknesses. We try to survive each day in spite of our fears while staying focused and service-oriented at the same time. Above all these, we get to know more of ourselves: a redirection from our pre-pandemic dispositions, a renewal of spirit, and resiliency for everyone.
