City LGU, Brgy. Asid officials support conversion of Asid ES to Asid Integrated School

SDS Morales Jr inspects construction of classrooms

To ensure participation rate and completion rate among Grade 6 completers of Asid Elementary School and the nearby schools, the City Government of Masbate headed by Hon. Socrates M. Tuason, city mayor, barangay officials of Asid headed by Brgy. Captain Ramil O. Ramirez, and DepEd Masbate City, supported the entire school-community of Asid Elementary School in its earnest desire to convert said elementary school into an integrated school so as to cater to the emerging needs of the Junior High School entrants.

Yesterday, SDS Nelson S. Morales Jr, SEPS Oscar S. Pinote, and EPS Marcelino E. Ibañez conducted ocular inspection of classrooms construction funded by the City LGU and barangay LGU.

As of press time, a total of five classrooms shall be erected right at the school site in preparation for the opening of classes for SY 2024-2025 come July.

Such initiative is indicative of DepEd Masbate City’s adherence to the principle that No Learner Shall be Left Behind.

Asid Elementary School is under the stewardship of Principal Remy Ann R. Concepcion.
